TIKALFLEX joint contact 20 (MS Polymer)

TIKALFLEX joint contact 20 is particularly for the joining by teak staff decks laid out UV-steady and shrink-free SPPO adhesive (MS Polymer Adhesive). Air humidity-hardening, TIKALFLEX joint contact 20 to a sharpenable elastomer.
By the use of raw materials on SPPO basis (silane-scheduled polypropylene oxide) TIKALFLEX joint contact 20 almost hardens shrink-free (under 0,3 %). Conventional sealing materials for the joining of teak staff decks on 1 K PU basis shrinks between 5,0 % and 7.0 %!

Since TIKALFLEX joint contact 20 hardens shrink-free, the adhesive force at the flanks of the Teak joint increases by a multiple. To an time-consuming masking with tape of the basic flank as with conventional products to 1 K PU basis with TIKALFLEX joint contact 20 can be frequently done without, the condition for this is sufficiently deposited teak wood and a stable base.
It can be done without the well-known process of "piling up" of the joint by using the conventional sealing compounds to prevent a concave surface after the shrinking hardening. TIKALFLEX joint contact 20 can be taken off laminar at the upper edge of the joint before hardening. Thus the material employment and the work expended are reduced clearly.
During the gluing and/or joining of oil containing teak wood the wood should be pre-treated with the TIKALFLEX primer P before the gluing/joining.

TIKALFLEX flatcontact 22 is a special UV-steady SPPO adhesive (MS Polymer Adhesive) designed for the gluing of teak staff decks on wood, GFK, steel and aluminium.
By the use of raw materials on SPPO basis (silane-scheduled polypropylene oxide) TIKALFLEX flatcontact 22 almost hardens shrink-free (under 0,3 %) conventional sealing materials for the joining of teak staff decks on 1 K PU basis shrinks between 5,0 % and 7.0 %!
TIKALFLEX flatcontact 22 has a adhesive force, which exist already before the hardening, whereby workpieces can already be fixed on the surface during the process of presentation, even with stronger downward gradient.
By the coordinated viscosity of TIKALFLEX flatcontact 22 this surface adhesive simply can be laid on and be distributed evenly with appropriate putty tool.
